It has taken me months to design this website. Days of sitting at the computer trying out many different ideas. Some worked and some didn't. Even the logo took me a week to design. Every step of the way, I spoke to friends about what they thought and showed them designs. I would even wake up in the middle of the night with one of those, what if, moments. Finally it was done and everything worked. It was time to start marketing and promotion.
I decided to make my offical start of my website at the Berkshire Visitors Bureau Tourism Tuesday. This was the day that all the cultural venues announce their summer season. Since alot of local people were going to be there, it seemed like a perfect day to start promoting.
I handed out lots of business cards and flyers, telling everyone I could about Funding The Arts. There were alot of interested people and when I got back to my computer, there were alot of hits on my website. It had started.
