Romeo and Juilet
A New York City weekend

I'm finally recovered from my trip to NYC. I left last thursday with plans to see my relatives, best friend from High School and the main purpose was to see The New York City Ballet perform Romeo & Juilet at Lincoln Center.

It was wonderful to see a full length production of a ballet, and the cast was so youthful. Clive Barnes from the NY Post did not give it the best review, but I loved it.

I met alot of new talented performers in the city at theAmerican Folk Art Museum which opens it doors on Friday night for free and has entertainment. If you get a chance, go before next weekend ends to see a wonderful exhibition on a Mexican artist, Martin Ramirez who drew on anything he could while he was in a mental hospital in CA. for the last 15 years of his life. He only used pencils and crayons and drew- trains, horses, soldiers,Madonna and alot of lines.

One night I went to Lure's Fish Bar in Soho. The food was great and Mayor Bloomberg sat three tables away. I also went toRepublic in Union Square for some great coconut crusted shrimp. Then since we were in the Village, we walked to Magnolias for Cupcakes. In all I bet I walked about 15miles during my trip.

I'll have alot of new websites and information for you tomorrow,
