The Fundraising Guru-Stephen L. Goldstein
Exploring the formulas nonprofits can follow to get the word out about them

You started a nonprofit, now how do you fundraise to keep it going?

Look around and you will see tons of nonprofits, it looks so easy to start and everyone seems to be raising money and making money. What is the secret of their success?

Perhaps, Fundraising Guuru, Stephen L. Goldstein can help you out. He is the aurthor of "30 days to Successful Fundraising." He is also a guru on finding resources that will help you suceed.

He has a popcast that can be seen at www.wxelpodcasts.org on Sundays from 7-8pm or go to www.wxel.org. The program brings together experts in communications, grant writing, capital campaigns, PR and other areas of interest. In one of the weekly series, Gary Grobman,co-author of "Fundraising Online: Using the Internet to Raise Serious Money for Your NonProfit" talks about creating Internet Fundraising strategies.

You can also check out www.Guidestar.org for its free services available to nonprofits.

The whole idea is to put the profit into nonprofit. I remember a fellow Director of Communications saying that nonprofits are not suppose to make money and that they don't have to pay their bills on time cause they are a nonprofit and everyone wants to do business with them. Guess what, he is no longer working in the nonprofit world.

Check out the weekly popcast, if one thing sticks, you will gain alot!
