1. Organization StageSource Information StageSource Members Invited to FREE performances, classroom sessions and workshops as StageSource co-sponsors: Acting Together on the World Stage:Setting the Scene for Peace Actuando Juntos: Trabajando Por la Paz en el Escenario Mundial October 4-8, 2007 at Brandeis University presented by The Slifka Program, Coexistence International, and Theatre Without Borders FREE performances, workshops and classroom sessions for STAGESOURCE MEMBERS. How does performance contribute to building peace in conflict regions around the world? And what happens to the artistic integrity of works with overt political purposes? From October 4 through October 8, the Brandeis Slifka Program in Intercommunal Coexistence explores these questions in a conference, Acting Together on the World Stage: Setting the Scene for Peace (Actuando Juntos: Trabajando por la Paz en el Escenario Mundial). The event will include public performances, workshops, and conversations with distinguished international theatre artists, cultural workers, and coexistence experts. The highlight will be appearances by Ana Correa and Augusto Casafranca of Grupo Cultural Yuyachkani. 5. ORGANIZATION: Brookside Studio for Theater and Movement, Jamaica Plain. INFORMATION: Space available for rehearsals and meetings, weekday mornings, afternoons and some evenings. Weekend days and evenings. Space is light, with wood floor, high ceiling. Space has one open section 20'x34'( no columns). The area on other side 40'x24' has one columnn.
