This winter, go to Harlem to celebrate Christmas. It will be more interesting then Radio City Music Hall.

The show, "The Apollo Circus of Soul", kicks off Nov. 23 and will run for 5 weeks. "Circus of Soul" will feature elements of a variety show with illusionists, jugglers,acrobats and trapeze artists.. There will also be singers and dancers.

The Apollo is looking to cash in on what Radio City has done for years, a Christmas show that grosses about $96 million a year. They are moving in the right direction. All dance company's know that a performance of "The Nutcracker" will make enough money to pay the dancers for the rest of the year and beyond. If they don't do a "Nutcracker", they won't be dancing at all.
